Grieving the death of someone close to you? We know it hurts, and we want to help. Find comfort and support at Grief Share. This 13-week grief recovery seminar and support group is a video seminar series that features Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented. Prayer is hard. Harder than it seems it should be. We are busy, distracted, and unsure if our time spent in prayer is amounting to anything. We want to have a vibrant, passionate prayer life, but instead, we may have one that is cold and apathetic. What is the cure for this? It is a true, biblical understanding of prayer. Our group meets every other Thursday evening starting January 18th.

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! This is a 4-week small group. It will be held during the 9:00am service in the Conference Room beginning on Sunday, April 7, and will end on Sunday, April 28. Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build friendships.

Alpha is an intentional place where we can have honest and open conversations about life’s biggest questions. Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you’re new to faith, or exploring Christianity, Alpha is a safe place where you can ask questions and get answers. Each week we will share a meal together as we discuss our topic for the night. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off-limits. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays September 11 thru October 30, 6-8pm. Doors open, check-in and food for this group will be available beginning at 6pm.

Serving & Praying for our City

Our small group will meet twice a month. Once to serve our city on Friday evenings with ICCM Life Center on Street Team. The second meeting will be to gather on a Saturday morning for coffee, breakfast, and reading the word together & praying for our city, a missionary in the field abroad, and the people we meet on street team. God called me to start taking notes of the people I met on street team and praying for them regularly. If you are wanting to pray for others and/or share the good news of Jesus. I encourage you to pray about if this group is right for you!
