Midweek
Kids midweek is dedicated to providing engaging, unique experiences that help children grow in Biblical literacy and influence, shaping how they understand God, themselves and the world around them. This program is 10 weeks long and runs alongside our Fall and Winter Adult Core Group seasons.
Kids Trunk or Treat
Join us for Trunk or Treat at River Valley! Bring the whole family for a fun fall night filled with decorated trunks, candy, games and plenty of chances to make some great memories together.
Trunk or Treat is also a great opportunity to invite your friends, family, coworkers and neighbors to join in the fun. Costumes are encouraged, so grab your people and come enjoy a night for the whole community!
Kids Fest
Kids Fest is one of our favorite fall weekends at River Valley Kids! Bring your child dressed in their favorite costume and get ready for a fun-filled service with worship, a message, games, and plenty of fall surprises throughout our decorated Kids spaces.
Kids Christmas Musical
Our Annual River Valley Kids Christmas Musical will be in two locations on Monday, December 14.
Apple Valley Campus is hosting Apple Valley, Lakeville, Eagan, and Woodbury Campuses.
Crosstown Campus is hosting Crosstown, Chaska, City, Maple Grove, Minnetrista and Shakopee Campuses.

KidsU is dedicated to providing engaging, unique experiences that help children grow in Biblical literacy and influence, shaping how they understand God, themselves and the world around them. Over the course of 10 weeks, your child will deepen their relationship with Jesus and take meaningful steps toward discovering their purpose in God’s plan. Each of our campuses have Kids Ministry available during every weekend service. You can find information on locations, service times and our campus Kids Pastor teams “here.”
We prioritize safety in River Valley kids and have security present at all times. All persons entering the environments are either serving as a volunteer or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all volunteers are background and reference checked before they serve. You will see each volunteer wears a yellow name tag to identify they have been cleared to serve. Each of our classrooms has room ratios to ensure the safety of the specific ages.
River Valley Kids is broken up into three age ranges: Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years old), Preschool (3 to 5 years old) and Elementary (6 years to 5th grade).
When arriving to River Valley Kids, you will register your family at the Family Registration desk, where team members can assist you. You will then check-in your child at a check-in station and print off their name tags. You will receive two name tags, one for your child to wear and one for pick-up after service. It is important you keep your child’s pick-up receipt, as that is a security measure we take to ensure all pick-ups are safe! A team member will then show you to your child’s classroom, where they will be checked into that particular classroom.

In our preschool and elementary rooms, your child will dive deep into Bible stories through a variety of large group lessons, games, discussions with leaders and prayer time. We believe in the next generation and our greatest joy is to grow and go together!
Summer Camp is a special experience for kids entering 3-6th grade each summer. Kids will encounter Jesus, grow in their faith and build meaningful friendships - all while having fun! Each year, registration and details are shared in early spring. This year, camp is June 22-25.
