The Book of Genesis, the first book of Torah. Over six weeks we will journey through Genesis from the creation of the earth to the time of Noah. We will view the book through an Eastern readers lens - after all the book was long understood by people in a very different culture to us and that will reveal the 'lullaby' effect of how we know these early books of the Hebrew Bible. We will use the BEMA podcast as a resource and the group is designed to be a safe place to ask the questions who have always had; to see everything we speak about in scripture and hopefully excite you to read on beyond Noah and see how amazing our God and His word was then, is now and will be foreever. M.o.M is a small group designed for mothers to come and do life together. We will meet in our homes year round, every other week, taking time off for summer break and winter holidays & each season will bring a new topic or study to work through. Kids are welcome to play while the mom's meet. Our hope is that this is a place to spend time with new and old friends - focusing on authenticity, deep connection, and spiritual growth. During the spring season, we will work through the study "Find Your People" by Jennie Allen, a 7 week series featured on RightNow Media. There is a study guide available on Amazon that is encouraged, but not required. This study is focused on building community - God designed His people to do life together, but we live in a dissociated world that caters to loneliness. Acts provides Luke's eyewitness account of that flame and fire...the birth and growth of the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, a small but courageous band of disciples preached, taught, healed and loved wherever God sent them. Join us for this in depth study of a movement that has changed lives and history. We are a inter-generational Small Group of both couples and singles. We start each week with a simple pot luck meal and fellowship at 6:00. The study begins promptly at 6:30.
