You may hear us say the phrase “Our Heart is Global” often throughout your time at River Valley, but what does it really mean? In Explore, we walk through the great commission that Jesus gave to his followers before He left this earth. Our mandate is to make disciples from every part of the world. Each and every one of us has a part to play in that, whether it is to pray, to mobilize others, to send or to go! This group is for everyone to discover how God wants to use them to accomplish His great commission. We meet from 6:30pm - 8pm. We start September 9th & childcare is included.

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! This is a 4-week small group. Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build friendships. Welcome Home for April will meet on Tuesday nights following the conclusion of our Core Groups on April 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

This small group (led by Gayle Cousins - assisted by Kim Kissner-Admin) is for all men and women, for the purpose of learning about, and engaging in, intercessory prayer in a corporate setting. This is for anyone interested in this type of prayer whether you have had very little experience or a lot!! We will all learn from the Holy Spirit, and from one another, as to how to "pray in" the Kingdom of God, and to pray what is on God’s heart! There will be a short teaching at the beginning of each session and the rest of the session will be engaging in prayer. We would love to see you there!! We will meet on the 4th Sunday evening each month, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Feb 25, March 24, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug 25, Sept 22, Oct 27, Nov 24, & Dec 22nd. Prayer is the foundation for the Church, for healthy growth, strength and unity, and for future revival!!

This is an interactive Men’s Bible and discipleship group where men grow in Christ and His Word thru community with one another. We cover books in the Bible related to aspects of a man’s life such as his purpose, roles, relationships, lifestyle, gifts, workplace, money, sex, communications and more! We will learn how to read, study, and apply the Bible so we learn Truth, walk by The Spirit and hear God's voice for ourselves. It will also be a time of prayer, laughter, and fellowship with every few months engaging in a special activity (e.g., have a meal, go to a game, etc.) as well as serve our church and city. We hope you’ll join us in doing life together in Christ!

This 13-week grief recovery seminar and support group is a video seminar series that features Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Biblical perspective. M.o.M is a small group designed for mothers to come and do life together. We will meet in our homes year round, every other week, taking time off for summer break and winter holidays & each season will bring a new topic or study to work through. Kids are welcome to play while the mom's meet. Our hope is that this is a place to spend time with new and old friends - focusing on authenticity, deep connection, and spiritual growth. During the spring season, we will work through the study "Find Your People" by Jennie Allen, a 7 week series featured on RightNow Media. There is a study guide available on Amazon that is encouraged, but not required. This study is focused on building community - God designed His people to do life together, but we live in a dissociated world that caters to loneliness.
