In Explore, we walk through the great commission that Jesus gave to his followers before He left this earth. Our mandate is to make disciples from every part of the world. Each and every one of us has a part to play in that, whether it is to pray, to mobilize others, to send or to go! This group is for everyone to discover how God wants to use them to accomplish His great commission.

This is an interactive Men’s Bible and discipleship group where men grow in Christ and His Word thru community with one another. We cover books in the Bible related to aspects of a man’s life such as his purpose, roles, relationships, lifestyle, gifts, workplace, money, sex, communications and more! We will learn how to read, study, and apply the Bible so we learn Truth, walk by The Spirit and hear God's voice for ourselves. It will also be a time of prayer, laughter, and fellowship with every few months engaging in a special activity (e.g., have a meal, go to a game, etc.) as well as serve our church and city. We hope you’ll join us in doing life together in Christ!

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build friendships. DivorceCare is a biblically based, Christ-centered support group seminar. Each session shows a 30-minute video followed by a small group discussion about the video. The DivorceCare videos present experts, ministers, and Christian counselors discussing divorce-related issues such as depression, anger, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Real people share their stories of how they deal with the pain and heartbreak of divorce and separation. During the week between meetings, group members complete a daily Bible study and practical exercises to help them heal from their hurt and pain. DivorceCare is for people who are separated or divorced. A workbook costs $20, which will be collected on the first night we meet. (please let us know if you need help with the cost of the book and we can take care of that)
