Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you’re new to faith, or exploring Christianity, Alpha is a safe place where you can ask questions and get answers. Each week we will share a meal together as we discuss our topic for the night. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off-limits.

I can't wait to get to know you! We will start the group with the "Take Ground" study guide that is inspired by this year's vision that Pastor Rob shared in January. I believe that we are going to end the year strong as we take ground as a church and see you take ground personally!

God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's small groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. You may hear us say the phrase “Our Heart is Global” often throughout your time at River Valley, but what does it really mean? In Explore, we walk through the great commission that Jesus gave to his followers before He left this earth. Our mandate is to make disciples from every part of the world. Each and every one of us has a part to play in that, whether it is to pray, to mobilize others, to send or to go! This group is for everyone to discover how God wants to use them to accomplish His great commission. Our group will meet weekly for 8 weeks on Wednesdays July 17 thru September 4, 6:30-7:30pm. Location TBD (may vary from at the campus to an outside location).

We want you to experience the fullness of God’s love, peace and purpose as you navigate your life. This small group will challenge and inspire you to become the person God wants you to be as you pursue the plans He has for your life. An 8-week Small Group course focused on bringing faith-based singles together for fun, learning, healing, growing, and falling in love led through the teachings of Jesus and taught by certified— Master relationship expert, life coach, and Christian relationships author, Kailen Rosenberg and Pastor Alan. May 13 - July 1, 2024.
