First Saturday Serve
On the first Saturday of each month, teams meet at various locations to share God's love in practical ways by caring for the felt needs within our community.
Tuesday at 6:30 PM
We gather together to work on projects, share a devotional, fellowship, pray and bless our community. You can bring a project of your own or work on one we've already started. Group projects are donated to the community. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. Current projects include tie blankets, loom hats, knitted and crocheted scarves, hats and blankets.
Monday at 6:30 PM
Our group focuses on the weekly sermon. We discuss it in more detail while looking for application ideas we can support each other in implementing. We also look at the sermon through the lens of the annual vision message as we seek the direction Pastor Rob has received for our benefit. There is little to no homework, other than any action items you feel led to implement in your life. Oh yeah, and the snacks are epic too!
Wednesday at 7:00 PM
We will be meeting together on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm to discuss the previous week's sermon. Our desire is for each of us to grow deeper in our walk with Jesus while enjoying the friendship and community of those in this group.
Serving opportunities will be shared with this group and participants can participate as it works with their schedule and/or interest. No set meeting times or commitments. Emails will be sent out as opportunities become available. Let's radically serve and love our community so that more people will come to know Jesus.
Friday at 6:00 PM
We partner with ICCM Life Center for a promising evening of God ordained encounters! Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors, build relationships while connecting with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Starting at 6pm we meet at the Life Center for prayer and worship (preparing food is also an option). At 7pm we then load up the Life Center buses and drive to various parts of the city, focusing on encampments, bus stops, high traffic areas and shelters. Throughout the night we will have countless opportunities to pray with, love on, and provide essentials to individuals and families while spreading the JOY OF THE LORD. :) We gather back at the Life Center around 9pm to share our experience, testimonies and encouragement. It’s always powerful to see how the Holy Spirit moves both inside us and through the individuals we meet. Hope to see you there!! Here is a document that has a few details:
Saturday at 9:00 AM
This will be a place for Men of crosstown to be connected to events happening specifically for men, whether it is a serving opportunity, sports activities, or simply a chance to get together as men and sharpen each other. The Idea is that we can grow our ministry here at crosstown by being better connected as a whole. If you have an event you would like to add to the calendar, please share and let's fill up our calendar.
Our small group will meet twice a month. Once to serve our city on Friday evenings with ICCM Life Center on Street Team. The second meeting will be to gather on a Saturday morning for coffee, breakfast, and reading the word together & praying for our city, a missionary in the field abroad, and the people we meet on street team. God called me to start taking notes of the people I met on street team and praying for them regularly. If you are wanting to pray for others and/or share the good news of Jesus. I encourage you to pray about if this group is right for you!
Wednesday at 9:30 AM

Our time together will consist of hearing the voice of God, deepening our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and understanding what it means to walk in the prophetic. We will meet on Sunday mornings at church in the conference room at 8 am. I'm excited as we join together as the body of Christ to go deeper and seek a greater understanding of what it means to hear God's voice.

You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. The Promise Principle is a powerful tool to teach men how to hear the voice of God through reading the Bible. It calls men to a daily God connection in which He speaks clearly through His Word and promises transformation, power, and direction in our everyday lives, (Romans 12:2, 2 Peter 1:3-4). Each week we will meet on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30 AM, Mugshots Coffee in Bloomington. Go through that weeks bible chapter together.
