You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession.

God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Lifegroups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. This group is for those who wish to bless others by making a meal. When a family is facing a challenging situation (whether a new baby, health diagnosis, emergency, etc.) and could use some support, my desire is to help provide some meals. When a need arises, I will create a meal train schedule & send it out to all members. You do not need to participate for every need - you can choose what works for you! My goal is to grow the group to easily provide for any need without relying too heavily on any member. This is not a typical small group & will not be meeting together.

Christ calls for unity in His Church and as Christ followers we are called to love our neighbor. In our current culture, however, many topics are leading us to disagreement and separation rather than unity and love. Discussions about race, diversity, and justice feel increasingly volatile and divisive. Rather than looking to politics, pop culture, or social media, we must look to the Word of God as our source of truth. Our unity and love in the church is meant to be our first witness to the world. We must find a common ground to bridge the growing divide and bring healing to relationships in our churches, families, and communities. In this group we will seek Christ, learn with an open mind, and build unity through Bible study and listening to the experience of others. We will meet for 8 weeks; every Wednesday from April 17 - June 5, in the Crosstown Lounge from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

We will be integrating various field trips so we can learn and explore our town and the surrounding area together. We will meet the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. M.o.M is a small group designed for mothers to come and do life together. We will meet in our homes year round, every other week, taking time off for summer break and winter holidays & each season will bring a new topic or study to work through. Kids are welcome to play while the mom's meet. Our hope is that this is a place to spend time with new and old friends - focusing on authenticity, deep connection, and spiritual growth. During the spring season, we will work through the study "Find Your People" by Jennie Allen, a 7 week series featured on RightNow Media. There is a study guide available on Amazon that is encouraged, but not required. This study is focused on building community - God designed His people to do life together, but we live in a dissociated world that caters to loneliness. Our hope is that this study will break down any walls & provide a community-driven atmosphere for M.o.M moving forward. We can't wait to see you! This small group (led by Gayle Cousins - assisted by Kim Kissner-Admin) is for all men and women, for the purpose of learning about, and engaging in, intercessory prayer in a corporate setting. This is for anyone interested in this type of prayer whether you have had very little experience or a lot!! We will all learn from the Holy Spirit, and from one another, as to how to "pray in" the Kingdom of God, and to pray what is on God’s heart! There will be a short teaching at the beginning of each session and the rest of the session will be engaging in prayer. We would love to see you there!! We will meet on the 4th Sunday evening each month, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Feb 25, March 24, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug 25, Sept 22, Oct 27, Nov 24, & Dec 22nd. Prayer is the foundation for the Church, for healthy growth, strength and unity, and for future revival!!
