There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage, and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession.

With the flick of a match a flame is ignited and spreads into a roaring fire. Over 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, a flame was started and spread to Judea, Samaria and then to all nations. Acts provides Luke's eyewitness account of that flame and fire...the birth and growth of the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, a small but courageous band of disciples preached, taught, healed and loved wherever God sent them. Join us for this in depth study of a movement that has changed lives and history. We are a inter-generational Small Group of both couples and singles. We start each week with a simple pot luck meal and fellowship at 6:00. The study begins promptly at 6:30.

Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! This is a 4-week small group. Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build friendships. We will meet for 4 weeks on Sundays from 11am-noon at the campus. (April 7, 14, 21, 28). If you are have children, they are welcome to go to Kids during group! You can also attend the 9:30am service and then stay for group!

Looking to find community and connect with others in a similar stage of life? Join us as we connect as couples online over zoom twice a month. They say raising kids takes a village and who better than surround yourself with other believers who can encourage and speak truth into your life and marriage. Join us as we dig into different bible studies to grow in our knowledge of God's Word, parenting skills and marriage. We have found that this is a great way for families to get connected with others without the excuse of no childcare. Put them to bed and hop online! (Sometimes we've got a few kids that join their parents when bedtime is a challenge) We will be trying to meet a couple times a small group season in person for family or men/women's fellowship times. Please have each spouse register for the group. Look forward to having you join us! Our group meets over zoom twice a month. We found last year when having to do our group over zoom that it actually worked well for families with little kids to find community in this way (just put your kids to bed and hop on your computer). Serve Our Community | Union Gospel Mission | Woodbury

Join us as we serve meals with The Union Gospel Mission on the first and third Sundays of each month from 5:00pm-7:00pm! You can park anywhere in our lot, even in spots designated as staff only. You can enter through the Bethel Hotel entrance and our front desk staff will direct you to our kitchen area. Once you arrive in the kitchen, our kitchen staff will give instructions on how to serve the meal. We will provide everything you need, and our kitchen staff will be present the entire time to help and support you. For over 25 years, Dave Ramsey’s been teaching commonsense, biblical money principles that work - every time. Our group will meet on Monday nights March 4 - April 29, 6:30-8pm (location will be shared with registered group members). We will watch the video together every week and discuss. We will also review the ask for the week, to help plan for taking action together and individually.
