In a world filled with anxiety, we will remind ourselves of the truth and use scripture as our anchor as we learn how to find freedom in Christ within the area of our mind.

We live in a world that alone will not produce Godly men. Our children, and more specifically our sons, are culturally acclimatized to "never grow up" and live the life of a boy in a man's body. Living this first hand with my own son, I refuse to let the world dictate his future outcome. The goal of this group is for a small group of men to "intentionally" disciple our sons to become the Godly men the Lord calls them to be. Utilizing Jon Tyson's book "The Intentional Father" as a guide, this is a men's group for fathers of boys between the ages of 12-19 who are interested in helping their boys step into becoming a man of God. Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! It will be held during the 9:00am service in the Conference Room beginning on Sunday, April 7, and will end on Sunday, April 28. Have you been wanting to go deeper in God's Word? Then join us as we gather weekly with other men from Eagan campus to read & study the Bible together. We'll be moving through different books of the Bible, chapter by chapter. The heart of this study is to look at the context of the passage and make observations (What does it say?), Interpretations (What does it mean?), and Applications (How does God want me to apply this in my life?). Whether you're a new believer or have been walking with Jesus most your life, this group will be beneficial for you! You'll be encouraged to study the chapter beforehand and come with questions of your own to discuss. We're meeting virtually Thursday mornings 6:30-7:30am. You can even join the call from work before you clock in.

Our group of men meets every Tuesday year round! Depending on the season their are usually between 8-14 who attend each Tuesday. Ages range from 21-60. It's ok if you can't make every week. Just join a Small Group! We would love to meet you and share in the Fun, Fellowship, Service, Faith and ups and downs of Life! Some activities have included CCW courses, Feed My Starving Children, Community Service projects, dinners, shooting, fishing…..share your ideas on how we can grow together and build leaders. Topics include Freedom, Surrender, Gratitude, Prayer, Forgiveness, Obedience, and Generosity. ANYONE can join this group!
