Join us once a month for a time of connecting over crafts. There will be a featured project each month that we can complete together. I will have all materials available for a low cost. We will be meeting on the FIRST Sunday of each month year-round.

If you love to play board games, cards, or just get wacky with a game of charades then this Small Group is for you, and we cannot live up to the statements above without you in the group. If you want to meet people and eat some tasty hors d’oeuvres (that’s fancy for appetizers) then this Small Group is for you. If you hate games, food, and people you might want to try another option. There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Are you ready to get started? River Valley recommendation is to take Alpha and Freedom classes previous to Empower class. We will be meeting Thursdays, Sept 14-Nov 16, with the exception of Sept 28 due to our Global Team Romania trip, and Oct 12 due to Marriage Night at Crosstown.
