Welcome Home is your first step at River Valley Church. You were created for a purpose, and we want to help you discover that purpose! You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can’t wait to meet you! This is a 4-week small group. Once Welcome Home is complete, we encourage you to find another small group where you can continue growing in your faith as you build friendships. We will meet on Wednesday nights in October at Pastor Vicki & Lou's home in Lakeville (October 2, 9, 16, 23), 6:30pm-7:45pm. Children are welcome to come along!

Freedom is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. Freedom builds on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to having a close relationship with God and walk in true freedom. We meet from 6:30 - 8pm, September 9th thru November 11th.

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Our group wil meet on Monday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm, September 9 thru November 11. Note: not meeting on September 23rd, due to Sparkle week. No childcare for 0-5yrs old. Elementary programming available. ALPHA IS A PREREQUISITE TO THIS GROUP.

Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis, providing respite care for exhausted parents, and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through a network of care. This group will provide awareness and information and will have action steps for those who would like future engagement.

It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Lifegroups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Walking in Unity and Forgiveness | Shana Vande Zande

The group will learn a tool that God gave me on how to walk in unity and forgiveness. It discusses how we participate in bringing fear and sin into our lives; as well as how we can choose to remove it.
