There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This eight-week Bible study will instruct, encourage, experience and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. (Strong RVC Recommendation to take our Freedom Class prior to Empower.) Are you ready to get started? You are welcome here! This is a "join at any time" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Small Groups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. This Small Group is for men of all ages seeking to have accountability to live pure lives. We check in weekly to: • Report on purity • Share praise for the good things God has done in your life • Request prayer • Set goals for the week 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness. We meet at Panera Bread in Eagan at 6:30 to 7:30 on Friday mornings. SPECIAL NOTE: During the summer we meet at Lebanon Hills Park (Holland Lake Entrance on Lexington & Cliff Rd.)

We meet weekly on Thursday evenings with the focus to coming together with other Single men and women who want to learn more about Scripture and create a Godly Singles Community that supports one another. We will meet in the Family Auditorium at the Apple Valley Campus.

Join us in uplifting the Church, missionaries, nations, tribes and unbelievers in prayer, that God will intervene according to His Riches in Glory. Prayer is a fundamental tool in taking ground in every aspect of our lives. Let us stand before the Lord in the gap on behalf of the land (Ezekiel 22:30). Mathew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 1 Timothy 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

This is a 4-week small group that will meet at Becki & Larry Johnsons' home (927 Savannah Road in Eagan) on Sunday evenings at 6pm on March 5, 12, 19, & 26.

Every Friday River Valley Church partners with the ICCM Life Center. Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors and build relationships! By joining this small group, you will be able to connect with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Schedule: 6:30-7pm - at the Life Center for a time of prayer and worship. 7pm - load up the Life Center buses with food, drink, clothing, and other essentials. We will drive to various parts of the city focused on encampments, bus stops, and shelters. Throughout the night we will meet people, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus while providing food, clothing, prayer, and so much more. 9pm - debrief, testimonies and encouragment. The most amazing, thrilling, epic, and exciting night of game playing you have ever experienced. You might be thinking this is a once and a lifetime opportunity but not only will it be amazing, it will also happen monthly on the 2nd Friday of each month. If you love to play board games, cards, or just get wacky with a game of charades then this Small Group is for you, and we cannot live up to the statements above without you in the group. If you want to meet people and eat some tasty hors d’oeuvres (that’s fancy for appetizers) then this Small Group is for you. If you hate games, food, and people you might want to try another option. Come and play some games, eat some food, and meet some people.
