Alpha is an intentional place where we can have honest and open conversations about life’s biggest questions. Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you’re new to faith, or exploring Christianity, Alpha is a safe place where you can ask questions and get answers. Each week we will share a meal together as we discuss our topic for the night. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off limits. God is for healthy marriages. A strong marriage with God at the center creates a firm foundation for a family. This is a 10 week course covering 10 of the most common talking points in marriage. We welcome anyone who is seriously dating, engaged, newly married, or married for decades. We will spend 10 weeks (may not be consecutive) covering topics from kids to money to parenting, etc. There will be a video teaching on each topic and book that holds all the tools for discussion throughout the week. You don't have to be in a "rough" season to work on your marriage, Not only is the content enlightening but building community with others with the same goals in marriage is invaluable. NOTE: The Shepps have 4 kids under 10 and anticipate other families with younger kids. We will discuss possible group childcare options as the date gets closer.

Looking to find community and connect with others in a similar stage of life? Join us as we connect as couples online over zoom twice a month. They say raising kids takes a village and who better than surround yourself with other believers who can encourage and speak truth into your life and marriage. Join us as we dig into different bible studies to grow in our knowledge of God's Word, parenting skills and marriage. We have found that this is a great way for families to get connected with others without the excuse of no childcare. Put them to bed and hop online! (Sometimes we've got a few kids that join their parents when bedtime is a challenge) We will be trying to meet a couple times a small group season in person for family or men/women's fellowship times. We found last year when having to do our group over zoom that it actually worked well for families with little kids to find community in this way (just put your kids to bed and hop on your computer). Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis, providing respite care for exhausted parents, and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through a network of care. This group will provide awareness and information and will have action steps for those who would like future engagement.

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage, and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Our group will meet weekly at our campus on Wednesdays September 11 thru Novemger 6, 6:30-8pm. Doors open and check-in will be available beginning at 6pm.
