Grieving the death of someone close to you? We know it hurts, and we want to help. Find comfort and support at GriefShare. This 13--week grief recovery seminar and support group is a video seminar series that features Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a Biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented. Group meets on Thursday evenings at the Apple Valley campus starting October 1. We partner with ICCM Life Center for a promising evening of God ordained encounters! Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors, build relationships while connecting with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Starting at 6pm we meet at the Life Center for prayer and worship (preparing food is also an option). At 7pm we then load up the Life Center buses and drive to various parts of the city, focusing on encampments, bus stops, high traffic areas and shelters. Throughout the night we will have countless opportunities to pray with, love on, and provide essentials to individuals and families while spreading the JOY OF THE LORD. :) We gather back at the Life Center around 9pm to share our experience, testimonies and encouragement. It’s always powerful to see how the Holy Spirit moves both inside us and through the individuals we meet. Hope to see you there!! Here is a document that has a few details:

We all think we know the story of Genesis - but do we? Based on the BEMA Podcast, the small group will firstly understand the way the original hearers of the story - easterners - heard and interpreted what Moses was saying. Then we will discuss the podcast and based on teaching this several times have these Bible stories come to life and bring new enthusiasm and understanding of the start of the story.
