The Promise Principle is a powerful tool to teach men how to hear the voice of God through reading the Bible. It calls men to a daily God connection in which He speaks clearly through His Word and promises transformation, power, and direction in our everyday lives, (Romans 12:2, 2 Peter 1:3-4). Each week we will meet on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM, at Hope Breakfast Bar in West End. We will read through and discuss the Bible chapter for that week together from a reading plan developed by the national Promise Principle team.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Dinner will be available in the lobby starting at 6pm. Please take your dinner to back dressing rooms, which is where your group will meet. Group will begin promptly at 6:30pm and end at 8pm each Monday January 23 thru March 20. We will conclude our time together by serving together on Monday March 27 7pm in Coon Rapids (ages 5+ are welcome attend).

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This Bible study will instruct, encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit how they are used throughout the Old and New Testament by ordinary people. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Empower will meet every Monday beginning January 23rd through March 27th. We will be meeting at the Woodbury Campus. Embrace Grace provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support to young, single, pregnant women walking through an unplanned pregnancy through a 12 week program. We are excited for you to be part of this Serve Our Community small group! Involvement and time commitment can be determined on an individual basis. If your heart is to serve those during pregnancy, this group is for you!! Different ways you can volunteer: pray, mentor, teach at the small group, provide resources, pass out information, plan baby showers, administrative, provide a meal for small group, be a representative at your campus, etc!
