Usher Serve Team members actively assist guests with seating as they enter, remaining alert to any special needs; facilitates the offering; counts people in a specific section of the auditorium and distributes connect cards and envelopes. They are also responsible for minor cleaning of the auditorium following the service.
After joining the team your team leader will communicate specific details and instructions for the week and service time that you serve on.
Usher Serve Team members have an outgoing personality, are attentive to detail, familiar with other ministries of the church, and are able to politely communicate in difficult situations. Training is provided.
The Parking Team sets up parking cones, directs inbound/outbound traffic flow, assists attendees making their way into the building, and makes all our guests feel welcomed by directing, waving, and answering any questions.
The Prayer Team prays with people after each service. Prayer Team members will have opportunities to pray for healing, salvation, challenging life situations and much more!
After applying to join the team Pastor Dave will communicate specific details and instructions for getting you connected and serving in prison ministry.
The Host Team is responsible for connecting with people at River Valley. Hosts actively seek out those who are new to our church as well as those who seem disengaged and go above and beyond to help people feel seen and included.
