Welcome Home is your first step to getting plugged in at River Valley. You were created for a purpose and we want to help you discover that purpose! Welcome Home is a 4 week small group that will provide the opportunity for you to find friends and fulfillment here at River Valley. You will build community, understand how God made you and dive deeper into your walk with Jesus. We can't wait to meet you!

Membership
Membership is an intentional way to establish River Valley Church as your church home. We want you to feel a sense of purpose as you build relationships, serve others and ultimately grow deeper in your faith with God as you pursue membership at River Valley.
Grow in Faith, Connect in Community, and Serve with Impact
The Discipleship Pathway is designed to help you grow in faith and serve others through two main tracks: Core Groups for spiritual growth and Core Experiences for practical engagement. Begin with Welcome Home to connect with others in the church, then move on to foundational steps such as Alpha for building faith and Freedom for personal breakthrough. As you progress, engage in Small Groups for community, Serve Teams to apply your gifts and take part in opportunities like serving your local community and participating in global missions on a Global Team to make a difference. Each step offers clear guidance to strengthen your relationship with God and live out your faith
Daily Bible Reading Plan
SOAP is an acronym: Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer. While doing this, write your thoughts down in a journal. Journaling is an excellent way to record and process what God is speaking to us. Without writing our experiences down, we may forget those blessings and some very important lessons!
Scripture: Take your time reading each chapter and allow God to speak to you. Look for a verse that particularly spoke to you and write it in your journal.
Observation: What do you think God is saying to you in this scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write this scripture down in your own words in your journal.
Application: Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now. Write how this scripture can apply to you today.
Prayer: This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say and journal about it.
