Are you ready to take action to love our city well? Every Friday River Valley Church partners with the ICCM Life Center. Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors and build relationships! By joining this small group, you will be able to connect with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule (details on how to sign up for Fridays will be shared from your small group leader - Lisarah. Schedule: 6:30-7pm - at the Life Center for a time of prayer and worship. 7pm - load up the Life Center buses with food, drink, clothing, and other essentials. We will drive to various parts of the city focused on encampments, bus stops, and shelters. Throughout the night we will meet people, build relationships, and share the love of Jesus while providing food, clothing, prayer, and so much more. 9pm - debrief, testimonies and encouragment.
Serving opportunities will be shared with this group and participants can participate as it works with their schedule and/or interest. No set meeting times or commitments. Emails will be sent out as opportunities become available. Let's radically serve and love our community so that more people will come to know Jesus.

Sisterhood is a group where women can find fulfillment and belonging at River Valley Church. This season we are going to explore what it means to be rooted in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! You can join this group no matter what age or stage of life you’re in. You also can come at any time! You are always welcome at Sisterhood no matter when you decide to come. Let this be a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with God and build healthy relationships with other women. We can't wait to welcome you!
Ephesians 3:12 says, "In Christ we come before God with freedom and without fear. We can do this because of our faith in Christ." Join us this semester as we look at what the Bible says it means to live in freedom as we study the book of Ephesians. Sisterhood is a group where women can find fulfillment and belonging at River Valley Church. This season we are going to explore different characteristics that make a healthy community! This group will start on September 26 and end on November 11. We will have coffee, tea and snacks from 6pm to build community! You can join this group no matter what age or stage of life you’re in. You also can come at any time! You are always welcome at Sisterhood no matter when you decide to come. Let this be a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with God and build healthy relationships with other women. We can't wait to welcome you!
We want to foster a place where we can build community and have fun! Our plan is to play different sports every two-three weeks. Our games include (but not limited to) soccer, sand volleyball, basketball, pickle ball, and cornhole/spikeball! Join us for a casual get-together to grow in faith and community with each other! We will plan to meet in South Minneapolis to discuss SOAP and come together in prayer. We look forward to embracing the summer season with you through game nights, potlucks, and studying God's word. Join Jessica Stewart and I on Wednesday nights through the end of August! There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled empowered life! This Book study will encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. These gifts are vital and need to be used in order to be effective witnesses for Him. In this study, you will learn about the unseen world, which is called the Spirit realm. Even though we don't see it with our physical eyes, we interact with it on a daily basis. Come be part of an exciting relationship with men & learn about God in a new way. You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Lifegroups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. This group is for women who wants to be accountable with each other and be iron sharpening iron. We will be following the SOAP reading plan and dive deeper into His word and pray for each other. To be part of this group, we are asking the members to commit to follow the SOAP reading plan as much as they can, agree to pray for the other women in the group and be open and honest about your walk with Christ so we can encourage and challenge each other!
Once a month, the Maple Grove young adult small groups gather to hang out, play games and have fun. By registering to this group, you will get updates about future gatherings. Let's grow in our relationship with Jesus and have the time of our lives! Ages: 19-30
