The Idea is that we can grow our ministry here at crosstown by being better connected as a whole. If you have an event you would like to add to the calendar, please share and let's fill up our calendar.

We will meet for 90 minutes each time for fellowship, a meal, and discussion of two chapters from the book each time in a relaxed setting. From the Amazon website: This book, "by beloved evangelical author and Christian mystic A.W. Tozer, illuminates God’s attributes—from wisdom, to grace, to mercy—and in doing so, attempts to restore the majesty and wonder of God in the hearts and minds of all Christians. Informative as well as inspirational, The Knowledge of the Holy returns the towering Christian concept of God to the center of the religious mind, fostering a renewed appreciation of the magnitude of God’s glory. This timeless gift breathes a spirit of devotion for all Christians, from those who are newly arrived to those who are committing themselves anew to Jesus Christ." Please purchase the book on your own ($13). It's available on amazon.com.

The Promise Principle is a powerful tool to teach men how to hear the voice of God through reading the Bible. It calls men to a daily God connection in which He speaks clearly through His Word and promises transformation, power, and direction in our everyday lives, (Romans 12:2, 2 Peter 1:3-4). Each week we will meet on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM, at Hope Breakfast Bar in West End. We will read through and discuss the Bible chapter for that week together from a reading plan developed by the national Promise Principle team.
You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" men's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle Men's Lifegroups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Click the link below to read more about Promise Principle and see our weekly reading plan: http://leaders.rivervalley.org/promise Our group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30, for those comfortable we meet in person.
Tuesday at 7:00 AM

If you are a man craving community with a desire to grow, this group is for you. Join us at any time!
