Embrace Grace is a 12 week support group for young, single, pregnant women walking through an unplanned pregnancy. Gather together with other girls who are in your same situation while benefiting from emotional, practical, and spiritual support. You will be connected with a community of women who will encourage you along the way. You are not alone! Also, at the end of the semester we will celebrate you and your precious child with a baby shower! If you are a single pregnant woman looking for support, please sign up and our leader, Cindy, will be in touch! If you are interested in serving with this group, please register and our leader, Cindy, will be in touch.
The Good Neighbor program exists to empower the church to walk alongside refugees and immigrants with the love of Christ. Good Neighbors befriend refugees and asylum seekers by providing practical support and life skills to those who have been forced to flee their homelands. Our team will walk alongside a family for one year. Some of our responsibilities will be: * Welcome newly-arriving refugee family through Arrive Ministries’ Reception and Placement program. * Be one of the first faces to greet this family upon their arrival at the airport. * In partnership with the family’s case manager wewill have the opportunity to assist with appointments and help the family learn local systems, all while extending friendship to our newest neighbors. *Come alongside a refugee or immigrant family already living in Minnesota. * Provide support to families seeking asylum.
Thursday at 6:30 PM
A honest open discussion arena for young adults who struggle to engage with the Scriptures in a meaningful, applicable way. How do I apply a text that was written by many people several thousand years ago in a very different culture to my life in 21st America? How do I know I can trust the Bible? What IS the point of the Bible? Where can I honestly wrestle with these--and other questions I have about the Scriptures?
Wednesday
A spirit-led prayer class. Learn to hear and obey God's voice, experience His presence, intercede for what is on His heart, decree His work, and yield to the Holy Spirit as we partner with Him in prayer. Intercessory Prayer will happen on campus (14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley) at 630pm in the Family Auditorium. Childcare is not provided
This group is for those who wish to bless others by making a meal. When a family is facing a challenging situation (whether a new baby, health diagnosis, emergency, etc.) and could use some support, my desire is to help provide some meals. When a need arises, I will create a meal train schedule & send it out to all members. You do not need to participate for every need - you can choose what works for you! My goal is to grow the group to easily provide for any need without relying too heavily on any member. This is not a typical small group & will not be meeting together.
This is an opportunity for young adults (18-26) to connect with each other. Come and build community and be with others growing a relationship with God. We will dive into relatable lessons and topics followed by purposeful conversation and prayer. We are excited about this group and look forward to seeing you there! This group will be held off-site in a home near the Minnetrista campus. Connect with us for directions! We will see you on September, 29th for a young adult event hosted in Minnetrista!
Sunday at 3:00 PM
The public schools are one of the largest mission fields right in our neighborhoods. This group will meet monthly to inspire, encourage, and equip one another to take ground in our local public schools. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus! We will share ways to get involved in the schools, pray for one another, and take time to connect. Come join us as we encourage one another. You are not alone! For our first meeting, we will meet on September 17th at 3-4:30 pm. There is no childcare but kids are welcome to come if they are self-sufficient. The content is geared toward adults. If you have any questions please reach out to the Leader.
Tuesday at 6:30 PM
We gather together to work on projects, share a devotional, fellowship, pray and bless our community. You can bring a project of your own or work on one we've already started. Group projects are donated to the community. All ages are welcome and no experience is necessary. Current projects include tie blankets, loom hats, knitted and crocheted scarves, hats and blankets.
The purpose of River Valley Young Adults Ministry is to help you learn how to hear the voice of God, pursue discipleship, and also have community that is focused on people on mission! For every first Thursday of the month, we will all join and build the RVYA Service together at the Minneapolis (City) Campus. The Young Adults of the Eagan Campus meet every Thursday (except the first Thursday of the month) at 7PM via Zoom for a Bible Study. We are excited for you to join us!
Sunday at 6:00 PM
Welcome to Young Adults in Faribault! We will explore tangible and everyday ways to build your faith and help you find community with fellow young adults. We will meet every other Sunday evening at 45th Avenue NW, Faribault, MN 55021. We will enjoy some snacks, read some scripture, open up for Q/A time and prayer at the end.
Saturday at 10:00 AM
We will meet Bi-Weekly on Saturday. This is an opportunity for young Women of God to meet together in community and fellowship, growing and championing one another in our walk with God digging into His word in all seasons of life.
We are a group of young adults pursuing after a relationship with Christ. Our mission is to dive deeper into knowing God, and raise up the next generation. We want to represent who God is and build His kingdom through community while having lots of fun. We are located 20 min from the Woodbury Campus just off exit 10 on 94 in Wisconsin.
A small group all about God, community, discipleship, growth and intentionality. To do life together and dive deeper in all God has for us. Each week will be different but focused on what God is speaking to us and build from that! Any questions feel free to reach out!
Serving opportunities will be shared with this group and participants can participate as it works with their schedule and/or interest. No set meeting times or commitments. Emails will be sent out as opportunities become available. Let's radically serve and love our community so that more people will come to know Jesus.
As a member of this group, you will be part of The Best Christmas Ever, a Christian nonprofit organization that helps families who experience hardships due to no fault of their own. https://www.bcemovement.org/ Do you want to make a HUGE impact on your community? God has given us each many gifts and strengths that we can use to make the world such a beautiful place. We can come together and create such an impactful group of giving and generosity! I, personally, see what heaven and God has given to me and I want nothing more than to give it all back to Him. I would love to create a group of individuals within River Valley Church that all have hearts to give back to those who are in need of SO much hope. Join me and let's make a difference!
Friday at 6:00 PM
We partner with ICCM Life Center for a promising evening of God ordained encounters! Teams hit the streets of Minneapolis to love our neighbors, build relationships while connecting with others from your campus that are serving in this capacity. You can serve as often as it works for your schedule. Starting at 6pm we meet at the Life Center for prayer and worship (preparing food is also an option). At 7pm we then load up the Life Center buses and drive to various parts of the city, focusing on encampments, bus stops, high traffic areas and shelters. Throughout the night we will have countless opportunities to pray with, love on, and provide essentials to individuals and families while spreading the JOY OF THE LORD. :) We gather back at the Life Center around 9pm to share our experience, testimonies and encouragement. It’s always powerful to see how the Holy Spirit moves both inside us and through the individuals we meet. Hope to see you there!! This will be a place for Men of crosstown to be connected to events happening specifically for men, whether it is a serving opportunity, sports activities, or simply a chance to get together as men and sharpen each other. The Idea is that we can grow our ministry here at crosstown by being better connected as a whole. If you have an event you would like to add to the calendar, please share and let's fill up our calendar.
This group exists to provide services to people in the Woodbury community. The projects vary in time/place in homes of widows, veterans, single parents. The team leader will communicate as the needs arise. Your gifts/talents/availability will bless those around us!
Join us as we serve meals with The Union Gospel Mission on the first and third Sundays of each month from 5:00pm-7:00pm! You can park anywhere in our lot, even in spots designated as staff only. You can enter through the Bethel Hotel entrance and our front desk staff will direct you to our kitchen area. Once you arrive in the kitchen, our kitchen staff will give instructions on how to serve the meal. Join us this semester as we look at what the Bible says it means to live in freedom as we study the book of Ephesians. We will meet weekly on Tuesday nights in the Main Auditorium of the Apple Valley Campus.
