In this series we will be studying the Book of Romans. It will be a very powerful study as we dig into God's word and grow closer to the Lord. We will have an awesome time of learning the Bible, developing friendships, having great discussions, and lifting up one another in faith and prayer. We need each other. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, "Just as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Together we will encourage, challenge, and help each other to become all we can be for Jesus Christ. This is an interactive Men’s Bible and discipleship group where men grow in Christ and His Word thru community with one another. We cover books in the Bible related to aspects of a man’s life such as his purpose, roles, relationships, lifestyle, gifts, workplace, money, sex, communications and more! We will learn how to read, study, and apply the Bible so we learn Truth, walk by The Spirit and hear God's voice for ourselves. It will also be a time of prayer, laughter, and fellowship with every few months engaging in a special activity (e.g., have a meal, go to a game, etc.) as well as serve our church and city. We hope you’ll join us in doing life together in Christ!

Calling men of all ages! Come and hang out in this small group to sweat a little, laugh a little and maybe even cry a little. We will start the evening off with some manly mayhem playing sports (ex. Kickball, ultimate, spikeball, cornhole, kanjam, etc) and then moving into a time of discussing a topic for the week and breaking into smaller groups to process through it. The purpose is to strengthen, encourage, and stretch each other and make some great friends in the process. Invite your friends and come join Phil Amundson and I for an amazing time! We will meet each Wednesday night starting at 6:30pm and wrap up around 8:30 or 9. Sports will be played at a park just down the street. Contact John or Phil with any questions. First day of small group will be Wednesday, September 20th.
Thursday at 7:00 PM
We will read/watch Wild at Heart and go through the '33 Series Authentic Manhood', hear from guest speakers, and learn from each other as we are discipled into better men, who walk in God's truth of what manhood is, know our life's purpose, live in purity, and be men who are never complacent and who go Full Throttle and Take Ground in every segment of our Life: Church, for our Wife (or future wife), Friends, Community, and at Work. Also, we will bbq while we still can! Looking forward to meeting you! If you have any questions, text me at 952-215-4535

The schools are one of the largest mission fields right in our neighborhoods. This group will meet monthly to inspire, encourage, and equip one another to take ground in our local schools. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus! We will share ways to get involved in the schools, pray for one another, and take time to connect. Come join us as we encourage one another. You are not alone!
This group is for those who wish to bless others by making a meal. When a family is facing a challenging situation (whether a new baby, health diagnosis, emergency, etc.) and could use some support, my desire is to help provide some meals. When a need arises, I will create a meal train schedule & send it out to all members. You do not need to participate for every need - you can choose what works for you! My goal is to grow the group to easily provide for any need without relying too heavily on any member. This is not a typical small group & will not be meeting together.
This group exists to provide services to people in the Woodbury community. The projects vary in time/place in homes of widows, veterans, single parents. The team leader will communicate as the needs arise. Your gifts/talents/availability will bless those around us!
Join us as we serve meals with The Union Gospel Mission on the first and third Sundays of each month from 5:00pm-7:00pm! You can park anywhere in our lot, even in spots designated as staff only. You can enter through the Bethel Hotel entrance and our front desk staff will direct you to our kitchen area. Once you arrive in the kitchen, our kitchen staff will give instructions on how to serve the meal. We will provide everything you need, and our kitchen staff will be present the entire time to help and support you. Here are some other things to be mindful of: - Wear closed-toed shoes - Make sure clothing covers the chest, shoulders, underarms, torso, and knees - Hairnets (provided by UGMTC) or hat (brought by the volunteer) - Gloves and aprons (provided by UGMTC) Here is a helpful resource, https://volunteers.ugmtc.org/faq
Serving opportunities will be shared with this group and participants can participate as it works with their schedule and/or interest. No set meeting times or commitments. Emails will be sent out as opportunities become available. Let's radically serve and love our community so that more people will come to know Jesus.
