Alpha | Apple Valley | Fall 2024

Apple Valley

Alpha is an intentional place where we can have honest and open conversations about life’s biggest questions. Whether you’ve been a Christian for a long time, you’re new to faith, or exploring Christianity, Alpha is a safe place where you can ask questions and get answers. Each week we will share a meal together as we discuss our topic for the night. Everyone is welcome and no questions are off limits. This group meets weekly on Tuesdays from September 10th to November 19th. Note: not meeting on September 24, due to Sparkle week. Childcare for 0-5yr old children. Christmas Musical for Elementary aged students.

Empower | Apple Valley Fall 2024

There is nothing more exciting than living a Spirit-filled, empowered life! This group will instruct, encourage and inspire you to walk in all that Jesus has made available to you through the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the gifts that He imparts. You will also learn in detail about each of the nine gifts of the Spirit and how they are used throughout the Bible as well as in our own lives. Finally, you will have the opportunity to deepen your relationship with the Lord through the lessons on prayer and intercession. Our group wil meet on Monday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm, September 9 thru November 11. Note: not meeting on September 23rd, due to Sparkle week. No childcare for 0-5yrs old. Elementary programming available. ALPHA IS A PREREQUISITE TO THIS GROUP.

You may hear us say the phrase “Our Heart is Global” often throughout your time at River Valley, but what does it really mean? In Explore, we walk through the great commission that Jesus gave to his followers before He left this earth. Our mandate is to make disciples from every part of the world. Each and every one of us has a part to play in that, whether it is to pray, to mobilize others, to send or to go! This group is for everyone to discover how God wants to use them to accomplish His great commission. We meet from 6:30pm - 8pm starting on September 9th - November 4. Note: not meeting on September 23rd, due to Sparkle week. No childcare for 0-5yrs old. Elementary programming available.

Freedom is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. Freedom builds on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God’s Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to having a close relationship with God and walk in true freedom. We meet from 6:30 - 8pm, September 10th thru November 19. Note: Not meeting on September 24th due to Sparkle week. Childcare for 0-5yr old children. Christmas Musical for Elementary aged students.

We will meet on Sundays at 12:30pm at the campus (a light lunch will be provided).
