Alpha is a Core Group that unpacks what River Valley believes. It answers questions like: Who is Jesus?, How do I read the Bible?, and Does God heal today? The format is simple: We share a meal around a table, listen to a talk on the week’s topic, and then have discussion together to learn more. Arrive at 6pm. If you have children, childcare is provided, you can check them in and drop them off at 545pm. Dinner is provided. Alpha will begin on Tuesday, September 26th in the Lounge. Our group will meet for 9 weeks, ending on Tuesday, November 21st.

Explore is a Core Group designed to inspire and enlarge your global heart as we study the biblical basis of missions and hear from some of our great missionaries. At River Valley, our heart is global because God’s heart is global. That’s why we believe that every follower of Jesus Christ should explore and know their role within God’s Great Commission. Explore will meet every Tuesday beginning on Tuesday, September 26th and ending on Tuesday, November 21st. Childcare is provided.

Freedom is a Core Group that equips you to live a victorious faith. Sometimes, we are simply unaware of lies we believe and wrong patterns of thinking that keep us stuck. In this group, you will discover how to move forward to greater freedom in your life, faith, and future by taking a deeper look at your identity in Christ. Freedom will meet every Tuesday starting Tuesday, September 26th and ending Tuesday, November 21st. Childcare is provided.
A spirit-led prayer class. Learn to hear and obey God's voice, experience His presence, intercede for what is on His heart, decree His work, and yield to the Holy Spirit as we partner with Him in prayer. Intercessory Prayer will happen on campus (14898 Energy Way, Apple Valley) at 630pm in the Family Auditorium. Childcare is not provided

Thursday at 5:00 PM
This group is intended to bring together pregnant women, moms of newborns, and their babies. These stages of life can be amazing, but they also can rock your world. Based on that, we want to bring together people who are going through these experiences at roughly the same time. This is a BRING YOUR BABY group, but for other children it depends on if they can be gentle with babies. Protecting babies from too rough of play is an absolute priority. When: LAST Thursday of every month, 5:00-6:30OM, starting 08/25/2022 Where: 15653 Eddy Creek Way, Apple Valley MN 55124 Long term this group will hopefully turn into a baby play group! As stated, older children can come, although it's highly important that the babies aren't over exposed to germs or rough play. No childcare is provided, so it's on the individual to know if an older child can handle the environment. Also we do have a dog in our home, caution for allergy sufferers...

Peter and Jude were writing to people who were under pressure. The early church had fallen under the influence of false teachers, who led immoral lives and taught lies about God. Peter and Jude wrote to help the believers stand firm. In our own day we have witnessed believers who have stumbled and fallen into serious sin. All of us are under pressure. So how can we stay on track? Join us for this six week study of 2 Peter and Jude to learn how to better stand firm in your faith. We will meet for six Fridays: 6/9, 6/16, 7/14, 7/21, 8/4 and 8/11.

You are welcome here! This is a "join at anytime" women's group. If you are looking for a deeper connection with God, this group is for you. God desires that we overcome being ruled by our thoughts and feelings, which are highly influenced by our circumstances — family, work, health, or temptation. 2 Peter 1:3–4 tells us that we can actually do this! It comes from learning to respond to God's promises in His Word and through prayer. This is the purpose of The Promise Principle lifegroups. Whether you’re still exploring faith in Christ, or you have been a Christian for many years, you’ll experience what we believe Jesus meant when He called His disciples to change the world by discovering and responding to His promises, truths, and commands. Text the word "promise" to 94000 or use the link below to read more about The Promise Principle and see our weekly reading plan (this link will bring you to the men's Promise Principle site - even though this is a women's group we will follow the men's Promise Principle reading plan): http://leaders.rivervalley.org/promise
