This group is for men pursuing God and asking Him to equip them with all they need to walk with Him in truth, passion, purpose, purity and discipleship. The group utilizes the Authentic Manhood curriculum ("33" series -for the 33 years that Jesus walked the earth). The curriculum and group resources offer clear and practical Biblical insights on God’s design for manhood that are both refreshing and inspiring. The group will point men to a gospel-centered vision of life that sets them up to enjoy God’s grace as they pursue the promises of His Word. Group Timeline: Stage 1: 12 weeks - Authentic Manhood for Grown Men (A Man’s Design, His Story, and His Traps) (meets for 12 consecutive weeks). Stage 2: 6 additional weeks: Man and his Work 6 additional weeks: Man and his Marriage, and Fatherhood Men can join at anytime, but in order to earn a camo wristband with “Iron Sharpens Iron” (Free, Pure Disciples on the inside) a man must complete his full commitment to Stages 1 & 2.

Acts provides Luke's eyewitness account of that flame and fire...the birth and growth of the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, a small but courageous band of disciples preached, taught, healed and loved wherever God sent them. Join us for this in depth study of a movement that has changed lives and history. We are a inter-generational Small Group of both couples and singles. We start each week with a simple pot luck meal and fellowship at 6:00. The study begins promptly at 6:30.

Christ calls for unity in His Church and as Christ followers we are called to love our neighbor. In our current culture, however, many topics are leading us to disagreement and separation rather than unity and love. Discussions about race, diversity, and justice feel increasingly volatile and divisive. Rather than looking to politics, pop culture, or social media, we must look to the Word of God as our source of truth. Our unity and love in the church is meant to be our first witness to the world. We must find a common ground to bridge the growing divide and bring healing to relationships in our churches, families, and communities. In this group we will seek Christ, learn with an open mind, and build unity through Bible study and listening to the experience of others. We will meet for 8 weeks; every Wednesday from April 17 - June 5, in the Crosstown Lounge from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

Crosstown Women’s Summer Small Group: Memorize & Multiply

GROUP IS NOW FULL: email anghq13@hotmail.com to join the waitlist. Memorize & Multiply Summer Small Group will provide accountability and encouragement to memorize six beloved Bible passages. A study guide from the Daily Grace Co. will be provided that walks you through memorizing one verse at a time while providing background, context and word studies. The goal is not a head knowledge of Scripture that you can recite on demand; the goal is to know God more and dwell on who He is by seeking to know and understand His Word better. As part of the group, you will also be held accountable to multiply the memorization by having six different people in your life memorize one passage of scripture with you. You will pick the people (could be your husband, kids, friends, family, co-worker, neighbor) and keep them accountable to memorize by the date listed below. We will meet every other Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30 pm where we will report back on how it went, discuss the verses we memorized, share prayer requests, pray and sip bubbly's on the deck. This small group (led by Gayle Cousins - assisted by Kim Kissner-Admin) is for all men and women, for the purpose of learning about, and engaging in, intercessory prayer in a corporate setting. This is for anyone interested in this type of prayer whether you have had very little experience or a lot!! We will all learn from the Holy Spirit, and from one another, as to how to "pray in" the Kingdom of God, and to pray what is on God’s heart! There will be a short teaching at the beginning of each session and the rest of the session will be engaging in prayer. We would love to see you there!! We will meet on the 4th Sunday evening each month, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm - Feb 25, March 24, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug 25, Sept 22, Oct 27, Nov 24, & Dec 22nd. Prayer is the foundation for the Church, for healthy growth, strength and unity, and for future revival!!

DivorceCare is a biblically based, Christ-centered support group seminar. Each session shows a 30-minute video followed by a small group discussion about the video. The DivorceCare videos present experts, ministers, and Christian counselors discussing divorce-related issues such as depression, anger, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Real people share their stories of how they deal with the pain and heartbreak of divorce and separation. During the week between meetings, group members complete a daily Bible study and practical exercises to help them heal from their hurt and pain. DivorceCare is for people who are separated or divorced. A workbook costs $20, which will be collected on the first night we meet. (please let us know if you need help with the cost of the book and we can take care of that)
