The Freedom Encounter is an impactful event designed to help you set aside time and direct your focus to listen to God and respond to His transformative voice. Through worship, teaching, and intentional reflection, you will learn practical next steps to overcome wounds and patterns from your past so that you can more fully walk out the abundant life God designed for you to live in restored joy and peace! This event is open to everyone and serves as the capstone to our Freedom core group.

Every Tuesday morning from 6-7am our campus will be opening our doors to provide space for you to come and spend intentional time in prayer and seeking God's presence. We believe that as we are setting this time aside every week we are going to see God continue to move and do miraculous things in our church, our city, and in your life! We’ve created this class for you and your child as a first step towards his or her Water Baptism at River Valley Church. We absolutely believe that Water Baptism is important. It’s the next step after a person commits their life to Christ. This class is designed to answer the big questions of Water Baptism: What is Water Baptism? How do I know if my child is ready to be baptized? What should I expect? How can we celebrate Water Baptism as a family?

This class is designed for parents to attend with their child (7-11 years old) wanting to be Water Baptized.
